Geojedo Island is the second biggest island in Korea after Jeju Island.
In the early 1970s, the island became connected to the nearby inland city Tongyeong via Geojedaegyo Bridge, making it easier to visit seaside tourist city. The true beauty of the island becomes clearer as you follow the course. From Jangseungpo Intercity Bus Terminal to Geoje Fishing Village Folk Exhibition Hall, the 18.3-kilometer course takes you on a journey through nature as you pass the ocean, port and mountains. The course is relatively difficult as there is a combination of uphill and downhill from the start, but the feeling of completion at the finish line makes the trip worthwhile.
